WHAT IS PANITA?
In an effort to engage civil society organization (CSOs) from across Tanzania to help raise the profile of nutrition, during 2010/11 Save the Children and UNICEF supported the establishment of a Partnership for Nutrition in Tanzania (PANITA). With more support from Irish Aid, the coalition has grown to 306 members by May, 2013 and HUHESO Foundation is one of the Members.
PANITA'S MISSION
The mission of the Partnership is to advance advocacy
efforts, improve coordination and reduce malnutrition by strengthening
the capacity and increased mobilization and coordination of the CSOs,
private sector organizations, the media and other development partners
to facilitate a more effective national and local response to address
malnutrition.
