The Global Day of Action on the 7th June is an exciting opportunity for the civil society, the public and organizations around the world to unite and campaign around tackling hunger. Some of the world’s most powerful leaders are gathering in the UK during the G8 and the ‘Nutrition for Growth’ event that will take place beforehand, on June 8. These include leaders from rich donor countries as well as from countries with high levels of malnutrition. The action is building on the success of the 2012 G8 at Camp David and it will be used to address the hidden crisis of hunger and malnutrition with concrete commitments. We’re campaigning to hold the global and country leaders to know that the world is watching thus they need to tirelessly commit to fighting hunger and malnutrition.
